Shakti Leadership or the art to blend traditionally feminine and masculine capacities in practice: when I coach leaders I am sensitive to both sources of energy and I will flex from one to the other depending on what the situation requires: at moments I will slow down, be patient and express empathy in order for the client to explore deeper emotions & fears, and to find serenity, while at others I’ll be assertive in order to push the client out of her/his comfort zone; I’ll enter into a creative brainstorming mode in order for the client and I to create new perspectives, while at other moments I will contribute to creating clarity, direction and focus by summarizing the essence of a new promising direction; I can also guide the client to flex between feminine intuition and masculine logic; or between inclusion by gathering perspectives from others and independence of decision making. The beauty of this balancing act between two seemingly opposite forces is that it enables us to go deeper, broader and further, and not to be stuck. A lot of young entrepreneurs in the digital economy I’ve been coaching, seem to have a natural ability to be Shakti leaders, while being deeply anchored in their willingness to be a force for good. #techforgood #leaders
